Dr. Abraham Ber, DDS
Many dentist offices feel like a factory where you only see the dentist for a couple of minutes at the end of your appointment. But when you visit Dr. Abraham Ber, you have his complete, undivided attention.
“We moved away several years ago and looked for a family dentist nearby. Nobody compared to Dr. Ber,” says a current patient. “It’s worth every minute of the 45 minute drive to visit Dr. Ber because when you are there it just feels like family.”
Other patients attribute this individualized dental care in helping them get over their fear. So many times people put off going to the dentist. So when they finally come in for that dreaded appointment, they are intimidated and downright scared. Dr. Ber goes slow and is in no hurry to rush onto the next patient. He is so gentle that even fearful patients have paid the compliment that they could have fallen asleep in his chair.
Dr. Abraham Ber attended McGill Dental School and graduated in 1978. He is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. He has attended multiple courses and earned continued education credits at The Pankey Institute, an institute that teaches advanced restorative dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction. Staying abreast of the latest trends and advances in the industry is important. That is why he attends regular study clubs like the Calgary Restorative Group every few months and averages over 35 hours of continued education every year.
Dr. Abraham Ber is a Canada native. He grew up in Montreal and relocated to Calgary when he graduated dental school. When he is away from the office, you may find him biking, spending time in the garden or working out. He enjoys cooking and has been known to make a good smoke meat sandwich, a skill he learned in his father’s deli as a short order cook.
Family is at the heart of everything he does. He loves spending time with his three kids, and is a proud grandparent.
